THE CENTENNIAL COLLECTION
To commemorate one hundred years since her passing, 1924-2024, this third book completes the series after the Memoirs and the Letters. It features newly translated versions of the two remaining manuscripts Sayyida Salme's children preserved as part of her Literarischer Nachlass (Literary Estate):
-
Nachtrag zu meinen Memoiren (Addendum to My Memoirs) and
-
Syrische Sitten und Gebräuche (Syrian Customs and Conventions).
While the two texts are relatively short, they still add meaningful context to her life, as further amplified by the translator's brief accompanying essays. The book also contains a few additional essays, including one on the all-important topic of faith.

The Centennial Collection includes more than 70 photos and documents, including an "In Memoriam" section in relation to her passing. Several of the photos are now available to the public for the first time, with particular thanks to Alexander von Brand, a great-grandson of Sayyida Salme's oldest child, Antonie.

For readers who have appreciated the Memoirs and the Letters, this added companion book presents an even fuller picture of her remarkable life and times.
